Canine unit

The Canine Intervention Unit of the Centro Nacional de Inteligencia was created in 2006 and has staff with extensive professional experience. In all this time it has trained more than 30 dogs, has collaborated with other units of the Army and of other Law Enforcement Agencies and has participated in education activities of the different training specialities. It is currently one of the most prestigious dog units in Europe. The dogs are trained in explosive detection and in security and defence, and they are regularly trained to counter any kind of new threat.
